Compatible Video Cards:
This product can be used with any video cards that have heatsink mounting holes.
Note 1) If you are using an nVIDIA GeForce FX5800, an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, a Matrox Parhelia, or a more advanced model, an Optional Fan (ZM-OP1, sold separately) must be installed.
Note 2) This product is not installable on an nVidia GeForce 6800 GT, 6800 Ultra because they do not have 3mm holes around the GPU.
Note 3) Zalman does not recommend VGA card overclocking. Zalman is not responsible for any damage from VGA card overclocking.
Note 4) Since this product weighs 350 g, always firmly fasten the VGA card onto the case with a screw. Special care should be taken while the computer is being moved. Zalman is not responsible for any damage arising while moving the computer.
Note 5) To enhance the performance of this product, the use of a fan on the rear panel of the system's case is recommended.
Note 6) After installing this product on a VGA card (Video Graphics Card), the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot will be unusable.
Cautions on using ZM80D-HP:
The computer should be placed according to the following diagrams in order for the product to function properly.
If it is set up in such a way that the video card's GPU faces upwards, then this product cannot be used. Also, if you attempt to adjust the positioning of the computer by flipping it in a reverse direction, the product will not function properly either, so you should place your computer case in its normal position.

To Enhance the Performance

You can expect a satisfactory cooling performance with ZM80D-HP alone, but this product is also designed to accommodate a noiseless fan (ZM-OP1) on its heatsink.
Therefore, should you want even more stable performance, you can attach the noiseless fan (ZM-OP1) as needed.

When installing a video card that has this product installed into a computer system, open up the PCI slot cover under the AGP slot to lower the GPU(VPU) temperature by around 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.

If the northbridge heatsink that is 25mm or taller in height (measured from the motherboard's surface) is away from the AGP slot in the direction of the CPU by 5.5mm or farther, this product can be installed.

If CNPS7000 (Zalman's noiseless CPU cooler) is also to be installed, the CPU retention guide needs to be 35mm or farther away from the AGP slot for this product to be installable.
