Locustworld: Meshbox

Imagine remote villages that have coffee shops with wireless Internet access! The Meshbox from LocustWorld functions as a wireless access router that helps provide users with broadband Internet, and transfers and authenticates signals from one access point to the next, in a scalable, and flexible low-cost solution. The Meshbox is easy to set up, as you only need to connect it to an external power supply, and position the antenna so that it can hear another box. The versatile Meshbox can also be used to perform PC functions such as email and Internet, network configurations, and can also operate in wired environments. Simple yet powerful, the Meshbox performs intricate capabilities in a few key components in its enclosure: an onboard WiFi radio with an antennae, PCI wireless card and the VIA EPIA V5000 mainboard. The fanless VIA EPIA V5000 provides stable and quiet running for the 'once-on-always-on' Meshbox and unique low power operation.
